Eclipse Technique Card

Good Morning Stampers ~ I have an Eclipse Technique Card for Christmas for you today.

Well I am down to a few small boxes.  I also managed to get a few more things in my kitchen put away.  I also mopped my floor.  I am still getting up fine dust from the construction.  I think I will be for a while.  I have to get out and get a box springs so I can order my mattress.  I have to get it set up for Jess for next weekend.  I also want to wash a few more things for the kitchen and get them put away.

My card today uses the Eclipse Technique in a great way.  I used the Hometown Greetings edgelits to cut a strip from Whisper White.  I took a piece of Silver glimmer paper that was 4″ x 5 1/4″ and using my trimmer I cut out the center.  I added this piece to a Cherry Cobbler card base.  Then I took the piece of Whisper White that I had cut the edgelit out of and added it on top of the glimmer paper using glue dots.  I added dimensionals. behind the edgelit and then fit it inside the cut out so it stood up from the background.  My sentiment from the Hearts Come Home stamp set was stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink.  I used the trimmer to cut it down.  I added this panel to a Cherry Cobbler panel and then was added to the upper right hand corner of the card using dimensionals.  Here is the completed Eclipse Technique Card.

Have you tried the Eclipse technique yet? Here is a Christmas Eclipse Technique Card idea.

  1. Good morning Robbie,
I am really enjoying the Christmas cards you have created. I do have a question. How did you stamp the image of the church and tree on the inside of the card and envelope?
Thank you for sharing your talent and thank you for your time.
