Happy Monday Everyone ~ wait until you see how I combined a soft pink and green for my Copper Embossing for Pretty Flowers creation!
Well I am back on track. I have quite a few appointments this week so will be busy in the morning. I also have to get several cards made so hopefully I can do that today. I also need to clean my house. I cleaned before I left but I need to clean it again. Remi told me I need to go grocery shopping as I didn’t have any food in the house. I did pick up a few things yesterday and then baked the chicken and made spaghetti sauce. Today I am going to put ribs in the crock pot. That will give me food for several days. I usually freeze things after one meal so I don’t have to eat the same thing over and over. Plus I like just putting things out of the freezer and reheating. I also have a ton of laundry to do. It will be a busy week!
My share today is a pretty feminine card. I began with a piece of Very Vanilla that was 3′ x 4″ and embossed the flower sprig with copper embossing powder. Then I used the Blushing Bride and Soft Sea Foam markers to color it in. I mounted this onto a 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock. A strip of the Tea Room Ribbon Combo pack was added across the bottom. Using a Blushing Bride card base I embossed the front using the Polka Dot basics embossing folder. The image panel was added to the card front using Tear & Tape. I stamped the sentiment from Oh So Eclectic onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and punched out with the 1 1/8″ scallop punch. A scrap of Blushing bride was used to punch out a 1 3/8″ scallop circle. The 2 circles were layered and then added to the card front using dimensionals. To finish off the card I added a bow made using the ribbon and added it to the strip of ribbon with a glue dot. Here is the completed Copper Embossing for Pretty Flowers creation.
