Hello Stampers ~ I have a pretty Beauty Abounds Friend card for you today.
Well I was busy yesterday. I had water aerobics, then came home showered and went to the grocery story and the mattress store. I got the box springs I needed and came home and put them on the bed frames. The mattresses are supposed to be delivered today and then I can finish setting up the girls room. I also set up for my workshop and prepared all the materials. Then last night I had book club. Today I have a few things to do this morning and then I have my workshop this afternoon. After the ladies leave I will unpack the mattress and put them on the bed so they can fluff up. These are the bed in a box kind and they are so compacted you have to give them a few days to breathe. I will also finish putting the things in that room away and if I have time I will work on the other bedroom putting my office together. It is never ending!
We have our next challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments Paper Crafting Challenges today. This time we have a sketch challenge.
I was not certain what I was going to do for this sketch. I have so few current sets to pick from. Thank heavens I have a small order coming today and a larger order tomorrow. At least I will have a few more sets to pick from. I have my stamp sets in alphabetical order so maybe when I make a card I choose the first one and the work my way through the ones I have using a different stamp set each day. For today’s card I decided to use the Buffalo Check background stamp for the larger panel in the back. I used the Purple Posey card stock and inked the Buffalo Check with Gorgeous Grape then stamped on the panel. This panel was added to the right hand side of the Gorgeous Grape card base. Next I used a piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock and stamped the leaf spray from the Beauty Abounds stamp set on it using Soft Sea Foam ink. This smaller panel was added to the left hand side of the card front using dimensionals. My sentiment from Beauty Abounds was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White using Gorgeous Grape ink. The Stitched Shapes dies were then used to cut the sentiment out. The sentiment was then added to the card front using dimensionals. To finish off the creation and add some bling, rhinestones were added to the center of the flowers on the leaf spray. Here is the completed Beauty Abounds Friend creation.
