Daisy Lane Clean and Simple in Navy

Happy Monday Everyone ~ Are you ready to see my Daisy Lane Clean and Simple in Navy creation today?

Well I got my laundry done, my bathroom cleaned, and my floor wet mopped.  I am so glad that today I do not have any cleaning or laundry to do.  I even got a chance to play yesterday.  I managed to make my cards through Friday.  I did not get my card for Saturday or Sunday completed so I will be working on those as well as my Facebook Live cards.  I know what I want to do just need to make them.  I have a dentist appointment this morning and will take some time this afternoon to work on my cards.

I saw this card using Penny Black stamps and knew I wanted to make my version.

I had to first address the ornate top of the top panel.  I pulled out my Delicate Lace dies and cut the top of a Whisper White panel.  I used the fern and Mossy Meadow ink and a second generation stamping to add them at the bottom of the panel.  The sentiment was stamped using Night of Navy ink.  This panel was then attached to a Whisper White card base using fun foam.  I stamped the flower stem using Old Olive and fussy cut it out.  I attached it to the card front using Glue Dots.  The daisy from both the Daisy Delight and Daisy Lane stamp set were stamped using Night of Navy Ink.  Wink of Stella was used on 2 of them.  The third one was painted with water to bleed the ink.  When it was dry, the center was stamped using Daffodil Delight.  Wink of Stella was then used on it and it was punched out.  The three flowers had the petals curled with a bone folder and then they were layered with glue dots.  The completed flower was then attached to the flower stem using dimensionals.  Here is my completed Daisy Lane Clean and Simple creation.

Inspiration can come from any where. The Daisy Lane Clean and Simple in Navy creation was inspired by a card I saw on Facebook. Click the photo for all the details.
