Happy Monday Everyone ~ A great Beautiful Colorful Seasons Fall card is my share today.
I was surprised at how much I got done yesterday. I got 4 of the 8 cards I need for my special project completed, my dusting and mopping completed, and my ironing done. I also got the coloring on my last card completed. I did not get the card completed but will work on that today also. I have to make 4 more cards so all 8 cards are completed and I need to design my Make-n-Take for Saturday. Good thing I don’t have anything on my calendar for today!
Now that I have shared all the cards for the Feels Like Frost dsp, I thought it would be fun to take and use this week for different coloring ideas. Each day I will share a card that has coloring on it in some way. Today’s card uses sponging as the coloring technique. Using a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Whisper White card stock I embossed the leaf from Colorful Seasons using Whisper White ink and white embossing powder. I stamped them randomly all over the panel. After I had them embossed I pulled out my Crushed Curry, Merry Merlot, Old Olive, and Pretty Peacock ink. Using these colors I sponged them all over randomly. When I was finished I used a soft cloth to buff the ink off the leaves to make them pop. I wrapped some linen thread around the top and attached this panel to a Merry Merlot card base as out of all the colors used that one looked the best. A multi-loop bow was created and added to the thread at the top with a glue dot. The sentiment was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and mounted onto a Gold Foil base. It was then added to the card base using dimensionals. The Seasonal Layers dies and Gold Foil were used for the leaf. The leaf was attached to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Here is my completed Beautiful Colorful Seasons Fall card.
