Hello Stampers ~ wait until you see how I used the Winter paper for this Masculine Let It Snow DSP From Stampin’ Up.
Well we have another day in Disneyland scheduled for today. We will not be staying too late as the girls will be going Trick or Treating in the neighborhood. It will be interesting to see how it goes since this neighborhood will not know them. I am sure they will have a great time. Zoie is a wizard from Harry Potter and Remi is a butterfly. Zoie loves all the candy but Remi is a chocolate girl and even then there are certain ones she does not like. Zoie would eat every piece right after she got it and Remi will only eat one piece for dessert right after dinner. Such fun with them at this age!
Have you ever thought of using Winter snowman paper for a masculine card? All of our designer series paper is double sided. The Let It Snow paper uses Blueberry Bushel, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, and Shaded Spruce. One of the patterns on the paper has Real Red and Coastal Cabana stripes. I knew it would be perfect for a masculine sailing card. I used the pattern paper and the Banner Triple punch to add a strip down the Whisper White card front. To create the element for the sailboat to sit on, I used the Layering Squares and the two largest scalloped and plain square. The scallop was used to cut out the Real Red layer and the plain one was used to cut out a Whisper White layer. The 2 squares were layered and attached to the card front using dimensionals. To add some interest, the seaweed was cut out using the die from the set then added to the left hand side of the square. The sailboat was stamped onto Whisper White and colored in using Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Pacific Point, and Real Red markers. The coordinating die was used to cut out the sailboat which was then mounted onto the layered squares using dimensionals. Here is the completed Masculine Let It Snow DSP From Stampin’ Up creation.

Want some other masculine ideas? Check out this creation that also uses the same bundle as today’s card. This card uses a retired flower set to create seashells and some sponging for a fun scene. And here is an idea that uses a different piece of dsp to create a super guy card.
