Hello Everyone ~ how about a masculine idea with the Sailing Home in Wrapped in Plaid creation?
Yesterday was my day to run around and get all the items I needed to finish up my craft items. I needed to get bags, candy, and other items to decorate my bags for purchases. I also got some containers to hold my items so that all like items are together. I think I have everything but if not I can always pick it up later this week. I have my last Christmas Stamp-a-stack this morning and will then be working on videos and cards for this week. I will also work on craft fair items so I can finish up some of the items. I am hoping to get some things finished today.
I thought I would take the last paper that is in my 2019 Product Share and use it. The last paper that is part of the share is the Wrapped in Plaid designer series paper. This paper not just for Christmas but is perfect for masculine cards. I chose one of the blue and green plaid patterns and cut a 2″ x 5 1/4″ strip. I mounted it onto a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Whisper White. A 3/8″ strip of Gold foil paper was was cut and added to overlap the edge of the designer series paper using Tear & Tape. This panel was then mounted onto a Night of Navy card base in the landscape mode. Night of Navy ink was used to stamp the lighthouse from the set onto a scrap of Whisper White. It was cut down so the panel was a little larger than the image. A piece of Gold Foil paper was then cut 1/8″ larger than the Whisper White panel. The lighthouse panel was mounted onto the Gold foil using Tear & Tape. This panel was then added to the card base on the right hand side using dimensionals. The left hand side of the card was bare so I stamped some of the birds from the set using Night of Navy ink. Here is the completed Sailing Home Wrapped in Plaid creation.
