Hello Everyone ~ my Magnolia Blooms All Occasion Idea card today has a great layout that could be used for other ideas.
Well I am headed to Jess’ today. I have to be there by 5 as I have to pick up the girls and take them to gymnastics. I am going to try and leave as early as I can so I have some extra time to unpack some of the car and get Bijou’s crate out so I can put her in it while I am taking the girls to their class. I did manage to get everything done I needed to do and the car packed last night so all I have to put in is my suitcase and a few other things. I will fix my tea and take it with me so I can enjoy it while I am driving. I am hoping I don’t have traffic or weather to deal with. Cross your fingers for me!
I went back to the annual catalog for today’s card. I thought I would create an All Occasion card using some of the Magnolia items. I began with the Magnolia Blooms stamp set and stamped that large flower using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To color the center of the flowers, I used a sponge dauber and inked up just the center. The leaves were colored using a blender pen and ink in the top of the ink case. The flowers were fussy cut which was easy as they are a large simple image. To my Petal Pink card base, I added a panel of the Magnolia Lane designer series paper. I chose to use the Mossy Meadow leaf print and cut it so there was a point in the center of the card. The Delicate Lace dies were used to cut out the border which was attached to the leaf paper. This panel was then added to the card front. Dimensionals were used to attach the 2 magnolias. To complete the card some pearls were added. Here is the Magnolia Blooms All Occasion Idea.

Would you like some other ideas for this magnolia set? Look at this idea that uses the paper and image for a great Thank You card. I combined a watercolor background with the same paper to create this card. This stamp also looks great when created in vellum with this card.
