Good Morning Everyone ~ I played with the First Frost stamp set for my First Frost All Occasion Idea today.
Yesterday was a low key day. We did not go anywhere but each of us took a nap. It was great to take a short nap. We did watch the Chiefs and Texans. Which was a good game. Michaela is not a football fan so we did not watch the other game. That is fine as I checked the scores online to see how it was going. Last night Jake had a rough night. He had a lot of gas. The medicine is working as he only fussy last evening so it will be a few more days before his stomach is settled down.
My card today is based on a layout I saw online. The card I saw used die cut doilies and I knew I could use some of the pearlized doilies in place of the die cuts. I wanted some simple dsp for the background so I went looking at what I have and found a piece of Perennial Essence dsp that would work. I mounted it onto a panel of Old Olive and then attached it to a Whisper White card base. I took the 2 pearlized doilies and added them to the card front so they were staggered. Then I used the First Frost stamp set and stamped a bunch of large and small flowers as well as some sprigs from Whisper White card stock and vellum. Once I had all the elements cut out I arranged them onto the card front . When I was happy with the layout, I added all the elements using Glue dots, Multipurpose Liquid glue, and dimensionals. For the final touch some rhinestones were scattered around the front of the card. Here is the completed First Frost All Occasion Idea.

Here are some other ideas for the First Frost stamp set. This card uses some of the beautiful retired Feels Like Frost designer series paper. This idea is a clean and simple one using some great dsp. This set is also great for one color wonder ideas also.
