One Sheet Wonder Idea in Very Vanilla

Hello Everyone ~ I forgot to take a photo of my One Sheet Wonder Idea in Very Vanilla with a twist idea before I cut it apart.

We had a fabulous lunch yesterday!  It was great seeing our friends.  We have a plan to meet up again in a couple of months.  It won’t be all the ladies as one of them was visiting.  Does not matter as we always have a great time!  After lunch our group went shopping.  We went to the clothing stores we like.  There were some purchases.  We then also went to JoAnn’s Fabrics so I could get some flannel for baby blankets.  The last stop was Tuesday Morning as the add had a Heidi Swapp mini Minc foiling machine which we have been trying to find for the last 2 weeks.  That store did not have it either so we will keep checking.  We will also see if it goes on sale anywhere else.  We are hoping we can pick one up so we can play with foiling.

I wanted to play with the One Sheet Wonder with a twist idea again.  This time I used Very Vanilla card stock.  This idea came from Ruth Trice Magness.  She has done it several different ways and of all the ways she has done it, this is my favorite.  For this one I chose to use Very Vanilla card stock.  My stamp sets were Very Versailles and Beautiful Bouquet.  I decided to use Blackberry Bliss ~ which I offstamped, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, and Mossy Meadow.  Some of the images have a second and third generation stamping to get the colors I needed.  Once I had my sheet created, I was ready to cut it apart.  I began by cutting on the long side at 5″.  This piece was then cut down at 4″ to give me a 4″ x 5″ panel.  This left a piece that was 6″ x 8 1/2″.  I cut this piece on the 6″ side at 3″ giving me 2 strips.  These strips were cut at 4″ giving me 4 panels that were 3″ x 4″.  I totally forgot to take a photo of the sheet before I cut it down so I will see if I can put it together enough to take a photo.

For my card today I used one of the 4″ x 5″ panels and cut it down to be 3 3/4″ x 5″.  I took this panel and mounted it onto a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ of Mossy Meadow.  I used a piece of the Gold metallic edge ribbon and added it to the bottom part of the panel.  The panel was attached to a Flirty Flamingo card base.  The sentiment from Beauty Abounds was stamped using Blackberry Bliss.  A bow was added using a glue dot.  Here is the completed One Sheet Wonder Idea in Very Vanilla.

Did you see my other One Sheet Wonder with a twist ideas?  Here is a card I made using the Painted Harvest One Sheet Wonder sheet.  The Daisy Lane One Sheet Wonder creation was another card made using this technique.  This card also uses the Daisy Lane set along with the polka dot tulle ribbon.
