Timeless Tulips Hello

Hello Everyone ~ the Timeless Tulips Hello card has a lot of texture.

Well I got quite a bit finished yesterday.  I got my videos made and my cards for my Facebook Live completed.  I did not get the rest of the cards for this week finished.  I will be working on those today after my broadcast.  I also have to work on my Facebook Live for Thursday evening and my cards for my class later this month.  Looks like another busy day for me!

I had not played with the Timeless Tulips stamp set in a while so I decided it needed to see some love.  I began with a Blackberry Bliss card base that I embossed using the Tufted embossing folder.  I used the Stitched Rectangles dies to cut out a small panel that would fit in the upper portion of the card front.  Using Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive I stamped the tulips and leaves using a second generation stamping for the tulip heads.  I pulled out a piece of Purple Posy and using Blackberry Bliss ink and the Very Versailles stamp set to stamp the words on it.  I then attached the small piece to the bottom of the tulip image panel.  The front of the card base was embossed using the Tufted embossing folder.  I then attached the tulip panel in the upper portion of the card base.  A small piece of Blackberry Bliss was swiped with the Embossing Buddy and then the sentiment was stamped and embossing using white embossing powder.  I used the smallest Stitched Rectangle to cut it out.  It was not thin enough so after I did the first cutting, I moved the other side of the die up so that it would lock into the holes on the side and cut a very narrow strip.  This was added to the bottom of the tulip panel using dimensionals.  Baker’s twine was used to tie a multiloop bow which was added to the sentiment strip with a glue dot.  Here is the Timeless Tulips Hello creation.

This is such a great All Occasion card. Get all the details for the Timeless Tulips Hello card by clicking the photo.

These tulips are fun to play with. They made a great card front for the Timeless Tulips Hello creation.

I have played with the Timeless Tulips stamp set several time.  Here are some ideas for you.  This one uses masking to create a panel down the side of the card.  This card cuts a frame from the stamped image and pops it up.  This one also has some sponging but is a one layer panel.
