Hello Everyone ~ my Honey Bee See a Silhouette card is so simple to make.
Well I worked almost all day on my taxes and I am still not done. I had a question so I contacted my friend to get the answer. I am waiting to hear back from her and then I can finish up just the work for my business. Then I will be able to enter all the information into the forms. I am doing an entry at the end of each month this year so I do not have to do this next year. I had wanted to do it last year and started out well but with the move and trying to get the house done I slacked off! Maybe I need to put a reminder in my phone at the end of each month so I don’t end up in this position next year!
Since I spent most of the day working on taxes I needed a quick card. I found a sketch that I thought would be fun to play with. I knew I could use the See a Silhouette designer series paper and that one of the patterns would be great to use with the Honey Bee bundle. I began by cutting a piece of the See a Silhouette for my background. I added this at an angle onto a Crushed Curry card base. I then uses another pattern from the pack with the flowers and fussy cut one of the flowers out. I added it on top of the honeycomb pattern on the card front. A strip of the back ground of the honeycomb designer series paper was added across the bottom of the honeycomb designer series paper pattern. I stamped the large bee from the set in black and then used the Crushed Curry marker to color the stripes on the bee. I added some sparkle to the wings using a Wink of Stella. The coordinating die was used to cut out the bee. It was added to lower portion of the card front using dimensionals. Here is my completed Honey Bee See a Silhouette creation.

Check out this idea that also used that honeycomb paper for another card. This paper is very striking and was perfect for this bright card idea. This card uses one of the other papers in the pack with a large flower image.
