Floral Essence in blues and greens

Hello Everyone ~ I stamped on designer series paper for my Floral Essence in blues and greens idea today.

Well I got all my cards made for this week as well as my videos.  I also did my Facebook Live and picked up my grocery order.  It was really odd yesterday when I went to get my order.  We have the dust cloud from the desert over us so the sky was gray.  We had sun and it was shining but so weird that our normally beautiful blue sky was gray.  It is supposed to be around all weekend but it is supposed to rain today so maybe it will wash it out of the air.

Today I will be working on planning out my blog posts for this week as well as planning the designs for the next Inspiration in the Mail online card class.  If I can get the card designed then I can make the videos and set up the classroom.  I will be watching the race also.  Anybody reading this a NASCAR fan?

Today’s card used some retired designer series paper.  It was just so pretty that I could not share it even though the paper was retired.  I paired it with a great embossing folder and a fun die cut.  Here is the Floral Essence in blues and greens creation.

Stamping on designer series paper is a great way to get interesting images. The Floral Essence in blues and greens uses the watercolor pattern from the retired Perennial Essence designer series paper.

To mimic the watercolor look of the card front flower I used some sponge duabers. Check out the Floral Essence in blues and greens card to see the gorgeous watercolor flower.

  1. Good morning Robbie,
Love this card, and I am a huge NASCAR fan. I have to say though watching the race on TV is just not the same as in person. Watching the cars take the laps before the race starts, and then the final lap where they get to the starting line is an incredible rush. The hairs on my arms stand up with the roaring of the engines. lol I go to the race here in NH what an experience. There is plenty to do before the race starts as well. Have you ever been to a race in person?
    Thanks for sharing as always.
