Winter Day of Gratitude

Hello Ladies!

I decided to play some more with my Day of Gratitude stamp set.  This time I thought I would make a winter card.  I found a great sketch that would work with the medallion.  I found the one at Our Creative Corner and knew it would work.

I began by inking the medallion with Bashful Blue, Baja Breeze, and Marina Mist markers.  I overstamped it with Versamark and applied Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  I did not like this as the Bashful Blue was too light.  I redid it but this time used Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, and Not Quite Navy.  I liked this better so that is the one I went with.  I added the vertical panel stamped with Charming and a sparkly ribbon.  Using the Northern Frost strip I cut a snowflake from Marina Mist and added it to the center of the medallion.  This was applied to card using dimensionals.  All I needed was a sentiment.  I wanted something that fit the snow theme and found the One of a Kind set and used only part of the sentiment.  When it was all finished I spritzed it with Vanilla Smooch to add even more sparkle.  Here is my creation.

So do you like the medallion with winter colors?  I am going to also play with it for Valentine’s Day so be looking for that one.  Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
