Forever Fern in Blues and Browns

Hello Stampers ~ some simple stamping and ink made this great Forever Fern in Blues and Browns creation.

I got my cards for this week completed yesterday.  My Facebook Live was fun.  I demonstrated how to create One Card, Three Styles.  What I do is I create a clean and simple card, then I step it up, and finally step it up to a WOW card.  My card was inspired by a card in the catalog.  I did not have the stamp set the card in the catalog used so I went looking with what I had and choose a stamp set I could use.  The ladies loved my version better than the card in the catalog.  I also shared lots of tips and hints which I usually do in my Facebook Lives.  We would love to have you join us.

I did not make the videos so I will be working on that today.  I also have some things to package up so they are ready for the mail tomorrow.  Sometime I have to meet Zoie’s dad and pick her up.  I will try and have my post for tomorrow posted before I have to leave to get her.  That way I have time when we get back to spend with her.

Today’s card was inspired by a One Sheet Wonder I saw on Facebook.  I did not make a One Sheet Wonder but used the idea to make the panel for the front of my card.  This card uses one of my favorite color combinations.  I love blue and brown as it is very dramatic.  These colors were fun to play with.  Here is my version the Forever Fern in Blues and Browns.

Features of the Card

  • Forever Fern
  • card base ~ Night of Navy – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Seaside Spray ~ scrap
  • Whisper White ~ 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Seaside Spray metallic ribbon
  • Stitched So Sweetly dies

Stamps, ink, and paper are perfect for a clean and simple card. Pair it with a great color combination and you have the makings for a beautiful card. The Forever Fern in Blues and Browns is a great example of one of those cards. Get the details and make your version.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I want to work on a schedule for my classes and posting so I have it.  I will add that to my list to complete today.  I hope I get most of my tasks finished today.  Have a Sensational Sunday and I will be looking for other color combinations like the one I used for the Forever Fern in Blues and Browns.
