Hello Everyone ~ I played with that beautiful winter set again and created this sparkly Stampin’ Up Snowflake Wishes Sparkle card.
As you know snow is one of my favorite themes to use for my cards. I love snowflakes, snowmen, and the beautiful blues and purples you can use for snow cards. Today’s creation uses some of my favorite things for a beautiful snow card.
The Snowflake Wishes bundle has some great images and cute sentiments to use on your cards. I love taking the sentiment “May Your Season Sparkle” and using 2 colors to ink the stamp and then stamp it. As an added touch use some Wink of Stella on the word “Sparkle” to take your card up to a WOW level. The dies in the bundle have some gorgeous detailed snowflakes as well as some simpler designed one. Cutting those snowflakes out with some of the Balmy Blue glimmer paper and it has all the sparkle of real snowflakes in the sun. I also cut some out with some vellum and added some Wink of Stella to add more sparkle. You can never have enough Sparkle!
What card couldn’t use some vivid designer series paper? The Snowflake Splendor designer series paper uses a variety of blues and purples to create dazzling patterns. I love the soft blues like Balmy Blue and Coastal Cabana as well as the subtle purple of Highland Heather on the paper to create watercolor wash looks. And if you are in a bold mood, check out the Misty Moonlight, Pacific Point, and Night of Navy snowflake patterned paper.
