Good Morning Ladies!
Do you realize that today’s date is 10 – 10 – 10? I think that is pretty interesting as we won’t have another date like this for a year and 1 month.
I spent quite a bit of time in my craft room yesterday making cards for the next few days. I need to work ahead as the first of this week is very busy.
I began with the color challenge from Picture Perfect Creations
These are fun colors and when I looked in my catalog I ran across the Upsy Daisy set that I hadn’t used in a while so I decided to play with it.
After I had my colors and stamp set I needed a sketch and found a great challenge at Create with Connie and Mary
I was now ready to create. I colored by stamp with my markers and then spritzed it with water and stamped it on white to get a watercolor look. I then pulled out my colors to do my layering. After layering I knew I could not make a square card so I modified it to make a regular card. I needed the 2 elements at the bottom and the sentiment so I used the butterfly from Flight of the Butterfly and then needed my sentiment. I then needed to put it all together. Here is what my final creation looked like.
