Using Some Paper Scraps Again

Using Some Paper Scraps Again

Happy Wednesday Everyone ~ I was at it again and created a card Using Some Paper Scraps Again.

Well I did it!  I cleaned my porch yesterday morning when I came back from my walk.  It took me about 2 hours but now I can sit out there and enjoy it.  Now I am on the hunt for a 3 seat glider!  I can find 2 seats but I want a 3 seat.

Today I have another task I have to do.  Since the beginning of COVID I have not had in person classes so you can imagine what my studio looks like.  Well I have my first in person class tomorrow so that means the studio needs to be ready for the stampers.  I will spend the morning cleaning and putting stuff away and then I will prepare the kits.  No play time for me today!

While I was designing for my newest online card class ~ May Flowers ~ I had lots of 1/4″ strips of paper left from my cutting.  Since you know I don’t like to waste this pretty paper, I used it to create today’s card.  It was so easy to create the rainbow diagonal strips on the black background.  Then all I had to do was add my die cut flower!  Don’t you love it when a card comes together that easily?  Check out my card where I was Using Some Paper Scraps Again!

The black background makes this card so striking. The rainbow strips are actually off cuts from my designing. See how the Using Some Paper Scraps Again took advantage of these strips of patterned paper.

I have used paper scraps to make several card ideas.  Here is a cute winter card that used the gorgeous snowflake paper.  Check out this card that uses small strips to make a rectangle focus area.
