Frame Dies for Card Making

Frame Dies for Card Making

Hello Stampers – I played with my frame dies for card making to create today’s card.

Remi’s mug she did at the Paint your own pottery place was done so we picked that up yesterday. She was so proud of it. We also finally got to the pool for an hour yesterday evening. We would have stayed longer but a storm moved in and I was hearing thunder so we left. Remi had a great time swimming. I again thought the water was cold but she didn’t. Oh to be young again! We are going to try to get to the pool again today. Cross your fingers that we don’t get rain or storms again!

Today’s card was inspired by a frame challenge I saw. I thought it would be fun to play with frames so I pulled out several dies sets that had frames and decided which ones I could use. I ended up using frames from Painted Labels and Tasteful Labels. I love using my supplies with other sets as it extends the use of your dies and makes them more economical.

My color scheme began with the So Saffron. I wanted to color the flowers using Blends and the only ones I have that are light in color are the So Saffron ones. After I colored my flowers I needed another color and could not find anything that I liked the look of. I opted to pair them with Fresh Freesia. When it was all done, it needed something so I pulled in my black and white gingham ribbon and make a bow. Here is the completed frame dies for card making card.

This card uses one of the same frames but I stamped on the shape. I used frames from my dies to create these peekaboo frames for this adorable zebra card.
