Easel Workshop card

Happy President’s Day everyone! I hope you had a good Valentine’s Day yesterday.

Sorry my post is late today but after I took my pictures yesterday my batteries died so I had to recharge them. Today’s card is one I made for 2 challenges. I also needed another card for my workshop that got canceled due to the weather. I offered my ladies a card kit and I hope this one is not too difficult for a kit.
I used the color challenge from the Colour Create blog. You were to use brown (Chocolate Chip), pink (Pretty in Pink), red (Real Red), and white/off white (Very Vanilla). They had an extra challenge to use hearts and silver but I did not want to do a Valentine card since the day was passed so I didn’t do that. I combined it with the sketch challenge at the Card Positioning Systems blog.
I wanted to do an easel card to show the ladies this new layout. When you open the card, you only see the partial panel in the back and not the Chocolate Chip background. I like this as it is something different. Here is the sketch and my creation.

Stampin’ Up Supplies
Stamps: Vintage Vogue Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Real Red, Very Vanilla Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Real Red Accessories: Very Vintage wheel, scallop trim border punch, dimensionals
Hope you enjoyed my card. The weather man says we are going to get snow/sleet/and rain today. I hope not much. I still have a 3 foot section of my sidewalk I am working on. It is a sheet of ice underneath so it is slow going. I do not need more ice to deal with. Check back tomorrow as I will have another card to share with you. Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!
