Stampin’ Up Masculine Cards
Happy Monday Everyone – are you ready for Stampin’ Up masculine cards on Masculine Monday?
Wow what a great weekend I had! The Retreat was a lot of fun and it was interesting to see how she ran the online retreat. I loved seeing the different ideas. I still have a set of cards to finish. I will work on them over the next few days.
Today is Masculine Monday and it is time for a guy card idea. Like you I don’t have much use for cards for guys so when I need one I struggle with ideas. Because of that I thought I could share some ideas each week in hopes it will inspire you when you need a card for a guy.
I challenged myself with this card. I have a lot of flower stamp sets and since I am using Shaded Summer this week I wanted to see if I can use the set for a guy card. I knew the images would not work, but one of the choices for Sale-a-bration are the Summer Shadows dies which coordinates with the stamp set. The die cuts had leaves in there that I thought I could use.

The die cuts had leaves that I knew I could use to make a masculine card. I love seeing the leaves in the Spring as those colors are so refreshing after a cold dreary winter. I used those colors to inspired me. I wanted to add more interest than just the leaves so I went looking for some pattern paper I could use. The Beauty of the Earth paper has a great green watercolor piece I could use. To add some texture I embossed the piece. Check out this idea for some more Stampin’ Up Masculine Cards.

Today’s card uses dies to make the masculine card. Check out this idea that uses Christmas pattern paper for a guy card. Trees are always a great image to use for guy cards. Here is another simple idea that uses a row of trees.
