A Cute Acetate Card

Can you believe it is Thursday already? Wow the time is just flying by. Before you know it we will be writing 2010!

Today’s card is just too cute in my opinion! I used the idea of the acetate window from Dawn at Dawn’s Stamping Thoughts/. She posted her glitter swap card and I loved the idea so I used her card to create my own card that we made last night at my workshop. She used printed window sheets on her card. I did not have them so I stamped snowflakes in Craft Whisper White and embossed in white on the inside of my card. I then used a sponge dauber to ink the edges and highlight the snowflakes. I also used a snowflake punch to punch the edge of the white strip at the top. I added ribbon – I have gotten into layering my ribbon lately to get the look I want. Stamped and colored in my image and attached to the acetate with sticky tape. I used the sketch from Stamping 411 for the layout. Once I got it finished I realized it fit the challenge at
Stampin B’s design team blog to make an acetate card. I have to apologize for the photo. It is very hard to photograph an acetate card. Here is the sketch and my creation.
