Stampin’ Up OnStage Online Sample

Stampin’ Up OnStage Online Sample

Hello Everyone – I am sharing on of my Stampin’ Up OnStage Online Sample cards I created during the Stamp-a-long event. I used product I had already.

Isn't this a pretty card? I love the Papaya with the Misty Moonlight color combo. This is an easy birthday card and was just one of the Stampin' Up OnStage Online Sample cards I made.

One of the events during the convention is a stamp-a-long. Shannon West demonstrated 3 different cards using a new bundle. I did not get the bundle so decided to try making the project with one of the sets they recommended.

One of the sets they recommended that could be used with the layout was the Hand Penned.

There were some guidelines to follow for choosing your pattern paper and other elements so I used that information and chose my items.

I needed a background paper with a small pattern like dots so I used the Pale Papaya with the white polka dots. We also did a fun coloring technique that I thought was a great way to color a large open image like this one. It made the coloring so easy.

I am excited the denim ribbon is coming back. I still had some left so I pulled it out to use on my project as Shannon used the same ribbon.

This card is easy to do with a bundle. Here are the measurements so you can use the same layout.

Measurements

Card Base:  Pale Papaya 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
background layer:  Hand Penned pattern paper 4″ x 5 1/4″
image layer: White scrap
sentiment panel:  White 3/8″ x 2 5/8″

Since the coloring was so easy, I carried it over to decorate the inside of the card and envelope.

Check out this color combo. I love the Papaya with the Misty Moonlight. This is an easy birthday card and was just one of the Stampin' Up OnStage Online Sample cards I made. Don't miss seeing the card front.

This bundle is one of my favorites so I have played with it quite a bit. I used the same image and colored it using the coordinating stamps for this idea. I used the alcohol background technique for this idea and used the same colors for coloring the flowers.

I cannot link the ribbon as it will be in the Jan – June catalog and will be available for ordering on January 4th. If you have some left like I did you can use it to recreate this idea. Here are the products I used. Just click the image and it will be added to your cart.
