Stampin’ Up Expressions in Ink Just Because

Happy Sunday Everyone – I had one more final play with this beautiful paper and created this Stampin’ Up Expressions in Ink Just Because card.

This paper is so versatile and can be used with many different stamp sets. I used the Expressions in Ink pattern paper with the Lovely You stamp set. A touch of gold thread pulls the gold highlights in the pattern paper out.

While the paper has sold out the Lovely You stamp set I used has not. I love the small images in this set as you can use it for so many cards.

Check out the sentiment layer with the gold thread in the background. Great pairing with this paper.

I used the same images from the card front to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope.

The Lovely You stamp set has great images. I used the same leaf spray on this card with bright colors. I even used this stamp set for a Christmas Card showing how versatile it is.

Measurements

Card Base: Pale Papaya 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Pear Pizzazz layer: 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ and scrap for die cutting
Expressions in Ink pattern paper: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ Pale Papaya pattern
White: scrap for die cutting

Step-by-Step

fold and burnish the card base
glue the Pear Pizzazz strip across the card from the top left corner to the bottom right corner centering the strip on the corners
use your snips to trim the strip even with the pattern paper
add the Expressions in Ink pattern paper to the Pear Pizzazz layer
glue the layered panel to the card base
cut out a 2″ scallop circle from the Pear Pizzazz
cut a 1 3/4″ circle from the White scrap
stamp the sentiment using Pear Pizzazz ink to the right side of the White circle
use Pale Papaya to stamp the flower on the White circle
stamp the leaves using Pear Pizzazz ink on the White circle
layer the 2 circles
add a strip of Tear & Tape to the back of the circle
use the Gold twine to loop it on the back of the circle catching it on the Tear & Tape
add the sentiment to the card front using dimensionals
