Colored pencils with Hand Penned Petals
Hello Everyone – I used my blender pen to create this pretty Colored pencils with Hand Penned Petals card.
This month Vicky and I are going to share a different coloring technique with you on Sunday. After you check out my post and watch my video, check out her card. Her post is here!
I love the purple and bright pink hydrangeas! You don’t usually see the 2 on the same bush but every once in a while you can find one. I used that idea to color the flowers on today’s creation.
Do you have a set of the watercolor pencils? You can use them as regular colored pencils or add some water for watercolor pencils.
Want to see how to color the image using 2 colors? Here is a video tutorial for you.
So you can see the coloring on the flowers, here is a close up.
I think the black and white pattern paper is just the right accent for these bright colors don’t you think?
I love using the colored pencils on dark cardstock like this idea. This idea uses the pencils with some ombre color.
Were you inspired to pull out your colored pencils and play with them? What would this look like colored in red and yellow? Give it a try!
Thanks for visiting me today.
Have a Sensational Sunday!
