Hello Everyone – today’s video will show you how to Adding Texture to your embellishments with Stampin’ Up dies.
This is card candy #3 for this week. Vicky and I have had lots of fun sharing these with you. Make sure you check out her ideas from this week. We will be back next week with another set of card candies for your cards.
Today’s idea uses some of the Bright and Beautiful pattern paper as a background. To break up all that color I used the die from Season of Chic to create a fun background element. Then I just started layering all the other elements.
Since the card candy was busy I used a simple panel embossed with the Stitched with Whimsy dies. I added a little butterfly to offset the open space. So cute don’t you think?
The Stitched with Whimsy dies are a great way to add an embossed frame to your card.

The Cheerful Daisy stamp set has a great daisy you can use to decorate the inside of your card and envelope. It matches the flower die in the Around the Bend dies.
The Stitched with Whimsy dies are very versatile. This card uses 2 dies to create an interlocking embossed idea. For this idea I framed a tag with the same die I used on today’s card.
