Train Challenge

Hello Everyone ~ Are you ready for a Train Challenge?

What a fun night we had last night.  We had our Bingo Stampin’ Up style last night.  We began with some pizza, drinks, and some goodies.  After eating we played 3 games of Bingo.  We then took a break and stamped 3 Note Cards.  We then came back and played 3 more games of Bingo with larger prizes.  A fun time was had by all and they can’t wait till we have our next one.  We had some great prizes and all but one came from the Holiday Catalog.  There was a lot of crossing fingers and hoping when their card was close to winning.  Can’t wait until the next one

This month we have Train challenge as our special event.  With a train challenge the original card was given to someone.  Then that person C.A.S.E.’s the card and sends it to the next person.  This continues until the last person gets the card.  It will be interesting to see how the cards changed from the original card.

The original card looked like this.

This card was sent down the line to 5 other people before I got it.  The card that was sent to me was created by Tantalaya and is below.

So when I got the picture, I saw the trees from Lovely As a Tree.  I decided to pull it out and use it to create a Halloween card.  I began by stamping the Lovely As a Tree stamp on Whisper White using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I punched a 1” circle out of a post-it note and added it in the sky.  I then did some sponging using Daffodil Delight, Elegant Eggplant, So Saffron, and Memento Tuxedo Black inks.  I cut a 2 ½” x 5 ¼” piece of Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I mounted this onto a Pumpkin Pie card base that measured 5 ½” x 8 ½” that was scored in the middle at 4 ¼”.  I then added the tree panel on top making sure to line up the edges and to leave a small border at the top.  I cut the witch out of Basic Black card stock using the Halloween Scene Edglits dies.  I attached her using glue dots.  I cut a ¼” strip of Pumpkin Pie card stock and added it across the bottom polka dot panel.  Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink I stamped the sentiment from Spooky Fun and used the Modern Label punch to punch it out.  My sentiment was added using Stampin’ Up Dimensionals.  Here is my C.A.S.E. of Tanatalaya’s card.

Thanks for visiting me today ladies!  I have a workshop this morning and will then spend time playing in my craft room.  Want to make the rest of the cards I need for this month.  Have a Super Saturday and let me now what you think of our Train Challenge!
