Birthday card for my oldest daughter
Happy Friday Stampers – I have a blue and yellow Birthday card for my oldest daughter to share with you today.
I usually make a beach card for my daughter’s birthday card but this year I wanted to try something different. I decided to make her a flower card in blue and yellow. I was inspired by a card by Barb Brimhall that I wanted to make my version of. The Darling Details bundle has some great flowers and leaves so I pulled it out and started creating. Here is what I came up.
The Darling Details bundle has some great simple images. I really like the border die that you can weave ribbon or paper through. I have used the frames a lot and shared some different ways to use them.
I had so many hiccups in this video. If anything could go wrong it did. But I stuck with it and made this video to show how to make this card.

Love the color combo and all the layers on this card. This is sure to make her smile when she opens it.
Did you notice the ribbon threaded through the die at the top? The die has the slits making it so easy to do.
The Darling Details bundle has some great dies. Look at this idea that uses one of the frames to create this fun card. Don’t get boxed in with this stamp set. Thinking outside the box I used the dies to create a sprig of mistletoe.
