Color Challenge 3 Stampin’ Up Darling Details
Hello everyone – here is the last idea for our colors this week with the Color Challenge 3 Stampin’ Up Darling Details card.
The idea for this card came to me while driving home on Tuesday. Not sure what made me think of this idea but I knew I wanted to use the Envelope punch board to create a pocket. All I had to do was make it happen. I did have to figure out the pocket as the smallest one listed on the Envelope Punch Board was still too big. While this did not turn out how I had pictured it in my mind, I think it is a cute idea. Let me know what you think.
The Darling Details bundle has great images and dies. The simple floral images are perfect to use year round for all occasions. Check out this bundle by clicking the image below.
To see how to make the pocket using the envelope punch board, here is the video.
To highlight the scallop rectangle I added a panel of Lemon Lolly behind it. You could not see the scallops before I added it.
Using an envelope pocket is a great way to add a fun element to your card front. The envelope punch board makes it easy to make the pocket.
I used this same image along with the ribbon thread die to make this pretty blue and yellow card. Look at how I used one of the dies to make mistletoe on this card.
