Stampin’ Up Petal Park color combo
Hello everyone – It is the last day for our color play this month and I have a Stampin’ Up Petal Park color combo idea for you.
Well Vicky and I have finished another month of color combo ideas. These colors were an interesting mix and I hope you enjoyed seeing our ideas.
These colors were interesting to use for the flowers. I opted to use the gray granite for the outline and add the coastal cabana for filling them in. It gives the outline a subtle look rather than the dark look you get when you use black.
The Petal Park stamp set is a 2 step stamp set. This allows you to create depth and dimension to your image. Check out this stamp set and see the pretty blooms it has.
Here is the video that shows how I went about deciding what colors to use for my flowers.

I used a first generation stamping for the flowers and a second generation stamping for the leaves. I like how this allows the flowers to be the focal point of the image.
This was a large image so when I used it for the inside of my card and envelope I used only a portion and did some several generation stamping to get a light image to allow writing on top if need be.
The Petal Park stamp set is great for a large focal image. I used it for this idea with some busy dsp. This image is great to use for a single color on colored card stock like this card.
