Good Morning Ladies ~ It seems there is a trend for Paisley in the fashion world that has carried over to the papercraft community.
I have a workshop today so I will be a busy bee. I cut all my paper before I left on vacation so all I have to do is set up. Thank heavens as I would be crunched for time if I had to cut for the class also.
Our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop is today. We have another monochromatic color scheme this week. Our colors this week are purples!
I think I blew this challenge. We were supposed to use purples only and it wasn’t until I went to right this that it hit me the designer series paper has other colors in it. Oh well I can’t remake it now as we are packing to leave – I scheduled this post before I left. I used some of the Petals and Paisley ds paper for my card. I cut a strip and attached it to the left side of the card front. I cut a thin strip of gold foil paper and attached it down the side of the ds paper. I stamped my sentiment on Whisper White and punched it out with a 1 1/4″ circle punch. I then cut a 1 3/8″ circle out of Night of Navy – should have been the Rich Razzleberry to keep with the purple challenge. Here is my completed card.

Now it is time to hop on down the lines. Check out Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see how she used purple. I am sure she did a better job than I did in using only purple.
Thanks for visiting me today. I will be sharing pictures of Michaela’s album on Friday so stop back. Have a Wonderful Wednesday and what are your thoughts on Paisley?
