Pocket card for Remi
Hello everyone – I am sharing a Pocket card for Remi that I made during a Facebook Live.
Several months ago I made this card for Remi that I sent to her. She never got it so I decided to make her a different one.
This one uses some of the Bright & Beautiful dsp and was created using a video I saw on You Tube. There are 2 pockets that hold lots of ephemera pieces. I used soccer balls since she plays soccer. Here are the pics of the card.
About my card
Blueberry Bushel – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″

2 1/2″ x 4″ – 2 from different patterns

Take one of the 2 1/2″ x 4″ pieces of dsp and score at 1/2″ on one of the 2 1/2″ sides. Add to the back of the 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of dsp. Using scraps and a circle punch punch out a circle. Add glue to less than half and glue to the bottom of the 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of dsp. Use a hole punch to punch a hole on the circle flap. Cut a 1 1/2″ square from dsp. Fold in half. Use a corner rounder to round the corners of all corners. Fold the square in half and use a hole punch to punch a hole in the unfolded side. Add glue to keep it closed.
The 3″ x 4″ dsp is folded in half and the back was glued to the card base near the top for one pocket. The 2 1/2″ x 4″ is scored at 1/4″ on 3 sides. On the side that is not scored used a circle punch to add a thumb notch. Fold on the score lines and add glue on the small strip and add to the bottom of the card base to make another pocket. Punch ephemera and sentiments to put in pockets.
