Alcohol Inks on vellum

Happy Friday stampers – I had so much fun playing with Alcohol Inks on vellum for today’s cards.

I recently took an alcohol ink class and had a lot of fun. I decided to see if the technique would work on vellum. I was so excited when it did. Using different alcohol ink colors I created some color blending. When it was tacky I used some foil to add some accents on the image. The images are so interesting that I only added a sentiment. Here are the cards I made during the play.

I made a video of the technique and shared lots of tips and tricks with you. The video is a long one but it takes you through the technique and then shows how to make a card.

About my card

White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
various sizes to back the vellum

Basic Black – 4″ x 5 1/4″

Vellum – 8 1/2″ x 11″ – created all 4 panels on this by working in the corners

You can use vellum to create strip to decorate the side of your card like this idea. This card created a vellum pocket to hold the card inside.
