Sketch idea for Inspirations in Ink

Hello everyone – we have lots of ideas for the Sketch idea for Inspirations in Ink blog hop.

Welcome to the monthly Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop. We are playing with a sketch this month and I am sure you will find some great cards. Thanks for joining us. I hope you enjoy my project.

If you ever have a problem coming up with a card idea, check out sketches to spark your creativity. This month the members of the Inspirations in Ink group are playing with the sketch above to inspire you in your card making.

I opted to use the Country Lace dsp for my card along with the Translucent Florals stamp set. I did add a layer of white and then my dsp to the card base to help the paper stand out some. Check out the rhinestones. I love adding them following the arc of the circle. Fun way to add your embellishments. Here is my card for this sketch.

Petal Pink – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
scraps for punching/die cutting
White – 4″ x 5 1/4″
scraps for stamping and punching/die cutting
Country Lace dsp – 3 3/4″ x 5″ – Basic Beige denim pattern
2″ x 4 1/4″ – Petal Pink dot pattern

For today’s card I used the Basic Beige denim pattern with Petal Pink. On this card I paired the same dsp with Old Olive. Check out this card to see another Petal Pink pattern in the collection.
