Hello everyone – we are sharing our Inspirations in Ink September sketch ideas with you today.

Welcome to the monthly Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop. We have a new sketch to play with and I am sure you will find some great cards. Thanks for joining us. I hope you enjoy my project.

I use sketches a lot as they are a great way to craft when you are limited for time. The Inspirations in Ink team is using the sketch above for our blog hop and tutorial to inspire you.

I wanted to use some of the Splendid Autumn dsp as the background for my card. I chose the one that has what looks like pumpkins in a field at the bottom. I kept my tag simple by just embossing a piece of Mossy Meadow. I love the use of linen thread for a Fall feeling. The pumpkin was made with the Bee builder punch. Here is what my card looks like.

About my card

Early Espresso – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Mossy Meadow – 2″ x 3 1/2″
Pumpkin Pie – scrap for punching
Splendid Autumn dsp – 4″ x 5 1/4″ – pumpkins in a field pattern
 

I have played with the Splendid Autumn dsp quite a bit since I received it.  Here is a fun fancy fold that uses those scraps we all have left over.  This idea uses one sheet to create the focal image and the background panels.
