Hand Stamped Sentiment – Birthday

Hello Everyone!

Wow yesterday was interesting.  Stampin’ Up released the retiring list and at the same time they posted the new catalog for demos to view on the demo website.  Needless to say the site was overwhelmed and crashed the servers several times!  It was interesting to try and download both of them but I finally got them.  Now to wait for 2 weeks so I can preorder things!  That is the hardest for me!

Today is the Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge.

I wanted to do something different other than circles which I knew would be interpreted as balloons.  I looked through my punches and decided on the star.  I also wanted to use some of the fun It’s My Birthday designer series paper.  I pulled out a piece of the paper I chose and cut it for my layer.  I then used my medium star punch to punch 2 gold glimmer paper stars.  I then used the Itty Bitty accents punch pack to punch 4 smaller stars.  Then I used the sentiment from Something to Say to stamp my sentiment.  I used the medium star punch to punch out the saying.  Then I used the Star framelits to cut a little larger star out of the gold glimmer paper.  I layered the 2 stars.  I used dimensionals to add the larger stars to the card front.  I then used glue dots to add the small stars.  Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am hoping to make a couple of videos today since it will be quiet in the house.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!
