Good Morning Everyone!
Have you ever had one of those days where you just can’t seem to get moving? I had one of those days yesterday. It took me forever to go into my craft room and get busy. I did finally get in there and made a couple of cards. Today I have to cut paper and set up for my workshop I have tonight. I also have to make my card for tomorrow’s hop. I love doing my workshops so that will not be hard. Oh and I just remembered I have to design 2 more cards for a class I have tomorrow morning. I will be a busy bee today!
Our challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a color one this time.
Don’t these colors remind you of Spring? With that I decided to make a Spring card with some cute little flowers. I stamped the flourish from the First Sight with Pear Pizzazz. I then pulled out my flower from Itty Bitty Accents punch pack and punched a bunch of them. I placed them on my card with dimensionals and glue dots. I added rhinestones to the center of my flowers. I wanted a design on the background layer so I pulled out my Happy Patterns decorative masks and sponged on some color. When I set the white layer on top you really could not see the sponged layer and my white layer had a large blank space in the upper right hand corner. I decided to tear off the upper edge. After I tore it off I had to go back and add some more sponging with the mask. After I had enough so that it went behind the white layer, I could attach the white layer. Then I needed a sentiment. I stamped the thank you and punched it out with the mosaic punch. I then cut off the points on each end. My card was now complete. Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today! Our weather is warming up. I really need to get outside and cut back my bushes before they sprout! Have a Terrific Tuesday!
