Easter Chick

Good Morning Everyone!

Yesterday was my Yarn Shop day.  I have been trying to get my shawl finished.  I am so close to being finished.  I did not finish it yesterday so I will be taking it with me to Michaela’s and will be finishing it there.  I will also be taking some other things to work on as well as supplies to try some different stamping techniques.  In the evening we will be working on Wedding Invitations.  We even have a few appointments for dress shopping.  I am looking forward to spending some time with her.

My card today began with the Sale-abration set Honeycomb Happiness.  I loved that little chick and I had not used it before so I decided to pull it out and play with it.  After I stamped the chick I used my markers to color it.  To avoid having lines, I colored it in using a circular motion.  After it was colored I mounted it on a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock.  My card layer was Daffodil Delight that I stamped with a stamp from Timeless Textures.  I thought it looked a little like fencing.  I also added a strip of patterned paper that I used the banner punch on to flag the ends.  Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have my fundraiser this evening.  I am hoping it is successful for Annette as I know the Ronald McDonald House is near and dear to hear.  Have a Fabulous Friday!
