Hello Everyone!
Well I got 2 gifts made, all the bases cut and scored and the decorative edge cut on the chapstick holders, and I got all the ds paper cut for the bases. I think I am doing really well on these. The chapsticks have been sent to me and I should have them the beginning of next week. If things go well I should have them finished by the middle of next week.
I have 2 boxes that I need to get mailed by Saturday. I have to finish up a few things for the boxes and they will be ready. Once those boxes are out I can relax a little. I want the one there by Christmas as it is Michaela and Josh’s Christmas presents. I am sure if I get it out by Saturday I will be safe.
Today my card is for a challenges I have not played with in a while. The CAS on Sunday challenges had a FUN challenge for us….. We were to use
My first thought was to use the stars framelits. Since this had to be clean and simple, I cut 2 of the smallest stars – one in Elegant Eggplant and one in Gold Glimmer paper. I added them to my front layer. I then added some sequins. When I laid the layer on the base I felt it needed something else so I sponged the edges. It was just what I needed. Here is my final creation.
