Shaded Friend

Good Morning Everyone!

I waited all day yesterday for my Stampin’ Up order to be delivered.  I normally get my UPS orders around 11:00 am.  Yesterday they did not deliver it until after 7.  I was also expecting some things in the mail.  It was not delivered until after 8.  We usually get that around 1.  Tis the season for late nights.  We need to make sure we thank our UPS drivers and mail delivery people.  They work really hard at this time of the year.

Today I am playing along with the challenge at Less is More.  This week they had a simple color challenge.  Our card had to use

Green & Blue

I wondered what I could stamp using these colors.  I started looking at my sets and I ran across the Garden in Bloom.  I realized I could do a flower in blue and a butterfly in green.  I stamped the flower on the card layer.  I then stamped the butterfly and cut it out.  I ran across an idea on a blog the other day.  The creator had used markers to color part of the sentiment one color and the other part another color.  I decided to use that idea for my sentiment on this card.  After I stamped my sentiment, I added some rhinestones to the flower and butterfly.  I popped my layer on dimensionals and my card was complete.  Here is what I created for the blue and green challenge.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have a few appointments and then I have 2 ladies coming to stamp tonight.  Not sure I will have time to play with my new goodies!  Have a Terrific Tuesday!
