Hand Stamped Sentiments – Falala

Hello Stampers!

Well I spent yesterday preparing for my Birthday Binder class for this evening.  I had a lot of paper to cut and sequins to count out.  I am ready for the ladies who will be coming this evening.  Needless to say I did not get any videos made.  I am going to try and film a few this morning.  I need to get my Paper Pumpkin ones done!

Today is the sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

I originally approached this sketch the way it was designed, but then decided to rotate the sketch.  I had stamped and die cut a tree and was going to use it for the chevron element.  But no matter what I did I could not get the card to look right with the partial circle.  So I decided to go in another direction.  I moved the tree down to be the circle element.  I then punched out some stars.  I needed to address the chevron element so I went with a die cut word.  Here is what my final creation looks like.

So do you want to see what the other ladies on the team created?  Head on over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog and check out the other creations.

Thanks for visiting me today.  The weather is going to be a little warmer for the next few days so that will be good.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

  2. Robbie,
Great idea to rotate the sketch! I love how the Christmas colors pop on the white background. So pretty!
