Happy Monday Ladies!
Wow this past weekend was very busy! I am tired so I hope this week is a little quieter. I don’t have any thing scheduled for today. Tomorrow I have the Retirement Village Ladies in the morning and in the late afternoon I have to work an Open House in Calvert County. I am hoping to be able to catch up on some things this week.
Today is the sketch challenge at Technostamper. Mary Jo always does a great job of coming up with different sketches. This week was no different.
I had a request for some Father’s Day cards so I thought I would use this sketch for one of the cards. The lady wanted a card with the Moon Lake set and specifically the boat image. I decided to try my hand at watercoloring. I stamped the image on watercolor paper with Staz-on ink. I then used a tutorial by Julia Davison to do the coloring. After it was colored I mounted it on black and to address the vertical strip I decided to use the Hardwood background. Here is what I came up with for the sketch.

This is a great sketch. We would love to see what you would do with it. Grab your supplies and join us at Technostamper. We love seeing all the different interpretations of our sketch.
Thanks for visiting me today. I hope you have some fun plans for today. Have a Marvelous Monday!

This is a great masculine/father's day card. I really love this set, although I have not used it too much, I think I just have entirely too many sets, lol. Thanks so much for the awesome sample for my sketch challenge!
