Hi Ladies,
I spent some time at the yarn store yesterday knitting. I am trying to get some of my projects I have on my needles completed. I have some projects I want to do and I have no free needles. I completed one project yesterday and only have a few more rows on the other project I worked on. It feel good to get some projects completed. Besides I need to make my sister’s shawl she asked me to do.
I am still continuing with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
I played again with the inking of the embossing folder. Out of all of the ones I did with the embossing folder, this one is my favorite.
Now on to my card. Today is the challenge at The Paper Plunge. This week our challenge is all about metal. We are to use metal on our card in some form. That could be a brad, button, or even a sheet of metal. I had to think about this one and then I remembered I had some metal buttons so I pulled them out.
I thought the button would look great on one of the coloring backgrounds I created 2 days ago. I pulled it out and knew it would be perfect for the birds in the Wetlands set. All I had to do was stamp the birds and my sentiment and my card was basically done. Here is what I created.
