A fun embossing idea combined with rub-ons

Hello everyone – I love finding new techniques to try like A fun embossing idea combined with rub-ons.
Did you ever see an idea you wanted to try? I watched a video with this idea and could not wait to try it.
Today’s Project
New ideas are all around us. I get excited when I see a new one that looks interesting and went looking at my supplies to see how I could do my version. I started with some stone rub-ons. When it was done I was thinking the rub-ons might need to be lighter in color. What do you think?

I chose the pinks to go with the gray color as I love the pink and gray combo. I used several shades of pink for the flowers. The green leaves are a blend of 2 colors also. The finished panel was missing something so I pulled out some more rub-ons and found a butterfly that would go. To finish it I added some silver gems.

I have used this embossing folder and stencils on this card so you can see what it looks like without the rub-ons. I also used a Penny Black stamp for this oldie but goodie technique.
