Happy New Year!
Are you ready for my Year in Review for 2016?
Can you believe it is 2018? I was working on my photos yesterday and kept labeling them 2017. I guess it is going to take a while to get use to saying 2018. This year will have a lot of changes for me. It will be interesting to see how they turn out. What are you hoping will happen for you in the New Year?
Are you ready to see another item in the Petal Passion suite? The embellishments are fun. They can be used to set a nature theme by using the leaf spray or a floral theme if you use the flower. The flower has a small gray pearl in the center which goes perfectly with the black and white designer series paper in the suite. I used the leaf spray in my 10 Minute Creation yesterday. It was really cute dangling from the ribbon. Here is a photo of the embellishments.
I decided to check out my posts from this past year. It is always fun to see how your skills and style change over a year. I thought you might like to see a Year in Review also. I went back through my posts since January 1, 2016 and picked out one of my favorite cards from each month. I hope you enjoy my review.
January 2016 – I saw this card on a video I watched and had to make my version.
February 2016 – these Sale-abration chickens were the big hit last year
March 2016 – Daisies are my favorite so I fell in love with this thinlit.
April 2016 – It was a sad day when they announced the Botanical Builder framelits were going to retire
May 2016 – I love fancy fold cards and this one was fun to create.
June 2016 – everyone was so excited with the daisy bundle being introduced in the new annual catalog
July 2016 – I love to make scrapbook pages and this one shows how our supplies can be used to make great pages.
August 2016 – I have lots of washi tape so here is a way you can use it.
September 2016 -a favorite bundle in the Holiday Catalog was the Snowflake one. I played with it a lot.
October 2016 – Another very popular stamp set was the Painted Harvest. It is so versatile and looks good in any color.
November 2016 – Here is one of my favorite cards from the year. I just love how everything just pops.
December 2016 – and to start the year off with color here is a great framelit set to have.
Thanks for visiting me today and I hope my Year in Review has inspired you to play with your stash! I have some new ideas planned for the new year so be watching for those. Have a Marvelous Monday and let me know which of my cards was your favorite in my “A Year in Review” post.
