Alternate Ideas for one card from Simply Citrus Kit

Hello Everyone ~ wait until you see my Alternate Ideas for one card from Simply Citrus Kit!

All inclusive kits are a great way to learn about stamping if you are new stamper.  This is also a great way to build up your supplies as the kit includes a stamp set that goes with the kit.

The picture directions are easy to follow and the arrows show exactly where to place the different elements from the kit.

While I make cards almost every day, using the Simply Citrus kit has been nice as I did not have gather supplies or think about what to do.  To work on this kit, I took out all the supplies and organized them in front of me.  Then I took 1 of the cards and made it exactly as the directions stated. Below is what that card looked like.

I then took the other pieces for that same card and proceeded to cut them apart and reconfigure them to make different ideas for the Simply Citrus cards.  For this card I used the preprinted panel exactly as it was.  I added some layers using Calypso Coral and White.  To tie the card together I used a corner notch punch I had to notch the corners of the layers as well as the card base.

For the next card I decided to cut up the card base and the preprinted panel for another idea.  I used the back as one layer and the dotted front for another one.  I saved all the offcuts as I knew I could use them for other ideas.  I cut the preprinted panel in half and notched the corners.  This one used some of the sentiment panels as well as one of the strip panels.  Here is the second alternate idea.

With all the pieces left from cutting it down, I was able to create one more Simply Citrus Kit card.  This one used the polka dot pieces to make a diagonal element on the card front.  I also used the other half of the preprinted panel on the front of this one.  I added some cluster of flowers to add interest in the background.  The multiloop bow was another element that I added.
