Amethyst Snow Card

Well, here we go again. The weatherman sure has missed his mark in the past. I wonder if he will be right with this storm.

We made it to New York in about 7 hours. No matter what we do it seems it takes that long. I guess to do it in 6 1/2 you have to drive straight through with no stops for gas, food, or bathroom breaks. The movers got here around 2 and had everything unloaded and were on the road by 3:30. Michaela and I left at 4 to go to the grocery store. Took us 2 hours as she had quite a few staples to pick up. When we got home we had dinner and then started unloading boxes. Her kitchen is completely set up and we played with her living room furniture arrangement. Her bed is up and usable. Tomorrow we will do some more and get rid of all the empty boxes.

Okay enough babbling, and on with the card. Today’s card uses a Penny Black stamp I got from my sister. I had colored it quite a while ago and when I went to put it together the Amethyst was the only color that looked good with it so I went with it. I guess purple snow is better than yellow snow 🙂 ! Here is my card and the inside. Hope you enjoy it.

  1. Great card (again) Robbie – love this little trio.

Wonderful combination of elements, colours and your inner pages are beautiful, co-ordinating so well with the main images.

    Thanks for sharing your ideas.
