Amy’s 45th Sketch

I hope everyone had a great weekend. We enjoyed the Oyster Festival and I got my crabcake sandwich. It poured in the morning, but it cleared off in the afternoon so we went downtown and we were able to see the parade.

Today’s card uses Amy’s sketch. When I saw this one over the weekend I knew exactly which set I could use. I wanted lots of sparkle so I used Versamark and Heat-n-stick powder to add glitter to the leaves. I also stamped on the patterned paper to add some whimsy. To give the background some texture I used my bath poof to sponge on some Always Artichoke. On the main image I use a combination of Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green to lightly sponged the edges. I like how it turned out. Let me know what you think. Here is the sketch and my creation.

Stamps: Fall Whimsy (retired) Paper: Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Ruby Red, So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Le Jardin DS Ink: Always Artichoke, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie, Versamark Accessories: Garden Green and Pumpkin Pie markers, Heat-n-stick powder, Copper Canyon – Nutmeg – Persimmon Art Institute Glitter, ribbon (Michael’s), 1″ and 1 1/4″ circle punches, bath poof, sticky tape, crystal effects, dimensionals
I am planning on aerating my lawn today so I can put down some fertilizer fo the winter. I am hoping to stamp some later today so I can have another card for you tomorrow. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Robbie
