Another background idea
Hello everyone – here is Another background idea for your card making.
This idea was one that began with an ink blended background but I wanted to give it a different look. That is where it occurred to me that adding a die cut overtop would change the look of the background.
Today’s Project
To make the background begin by blending 3 colors to make a panel. I chose to use Fall colors and then just added my ink and blending the colors. Don’t worry if the blending is not the best. When it was completed it was too much color so I pulled out a set of coverplate dies and cut one out that toned down the panel.
Now with all that beautiful color you don’t want to hide it all so a good element is to create a cluster. Since I used Fall colors I chose to use Fall elements. I pulled out some leaf dies and cut them out with Fall colors. I also created a pumpkin with an oval punch. Here is the cluster on the card.

You don’t have to use several colors for your backgrounds. This idea uses a single color to create a background for your focal image. You can also use a blended background for a stamped image like this idea.
