Another Masculine Penny Black Card

Masculine cards are hard to do and if you are like me most of your stamps are flowers. I do have a few images that are animals and Kay has a lot of frogs and hedgehogs that are great for masculine cards.  I had a cute saying so I used one of her images and created another card using the same colors and paper as I used yesterday.

When making masculine cards you need to be careful of the ribbon you use as well as the accessories as some of them can be perceived as feminine.  Think about using raffia, grosgrain, or twill for ribbon.  Buttons are also a good accessory that gives a card a more casual appearance.  I think guys like a little bling also so using glitter paper is a good way to add that sparkle.  Here is my second card for the challenge.

Stamps: Frog (Inkadinkadoo), All About You (Verve) Paper: Green Galore, white, DCWV Glitter Stack Ink: Basic Black Accessories: Gable Green – Green Galore – Real Red markers, raffia, buttons (Pink Hedgehog), slot punch, Zots, sticky tape, dimensionals
Let me know what you think of this one.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!
